We recommend that you consider replacing the RO membrane on your system once the TDS reading on the in reading (whilst filling) (reading taken after RO, but before DI) on your TDS meter reaches 20ppm. An early sign of the RO membrane requiring imminent replacement is the frequency at which you are replacing the DI resin. If you are noticing the frequency of this change becoming more frequent then its usually a sign that the RO membrane is coming towards the end of it’s life. To prolong the life of your RO membrane we recommend carrying out regular changes of the carbon and sediment pre filters on your system.
